Can You Ask Drake Questions with AI?
What if you could use AI to ask your favorite artist questions?
AI chatbots have been around for a while but we’re starting to see the technology utilized in a unique way within the creator space. There's now an AI chatbot that allows you to ask your favorite thought leaders questions by generating responses from contextual information.
(Folks like Tim Ferriss, Tony Robbins, & more.)
This newsletter covers:
How audiences are using AI chatbots to engage with creators
What that same strategy could look like with artists and musicians
I published part of this post on Twitter and LinkedIn a while ago but thought the idea was so compelling it deserved further exploration.
Let’s dive in ⬇️
The chatbot was created by Add Context (no this is not a sponsored post lol)
AddContext is a platform that created AI chatbots, sharing insights from leaders in different mediums including podcasts, YouTubers, motivational speakers, & more.
It allows users to ask questions by generating responses that pull from the context surrounding that person - for example, past episodes of a podcast, blog posts, etc - and crediting that source.
Their chatbots include individuals and shows like:
Tim Ferris
Mr. Beast
Tony Robbins
Dan Koe
The All In Show
The Breakfast Club
My First Million
For example, you can ask Tim Ferris:
"How would you make a million dollars in 2023?"
The AI chatbot generates an answer pulling quotes and context from past Tim Ferrris podcast episodes referencing the specific episode titles.
The way the technology is being used begs the question…
What could an AI chatbot potentially look like for artists?
If you wanted to ask your favorite artist a question, get their perspective, or learn more about them, what if the AI chatbot could pull context from their interviews, social media posts, and music to formulate an answer?
It could change the dynamic of how fans interact, engage, and connect to their favorite artists.
While some of this information can be readily pulled from Google search, AI chatbots could in theory provide additional context and perspective.
Want Drake's perspective on how to find success as an emerging artist?
Instead of scouring interviews, what if you could ask a Drake chatbot a question and it generated an answer from past interviews and then actually referenced those interview links?
These chatbots for artists have existed to some degree in places like Facebook Messenger, but not on this scale before.
This type of technology has the potential to impact not just artists, but also producers. For example, what if you could ask Metro Boomin questions?
“How do you produce?”
“What plug-ins do you use?”
Do you prefer producing in person with artists or would you rather send beats?”
In theory, an AI chatbot could pull past interviews, articles, and information to provide those answers in one place & make you feel like you’re talking to Metro.
The technology has the potential to change how fans learn about, discover, and interact with their favorite artists and creators.
Thanks for reading, until next time.
